Inauguration of St. Pauls PU College

On the 9th of October’18 we had the official inauguration of the St.Paul’s PU College of Science & Commerce.Shri. Rajendra Belgaukaran Ex Paulite who is an educationist & industrialist was the honoured Chief Guest of the function. Rev. Fr. Dr. Roland Coelho S.J, the Provincial of Goa Province & Smt. Vidhya Shahpurkar were the Guests of honour.The Principal of the College, Rev. Fr. Pedro Rodrigues welcomed the gathering. Messages were delivered by Shri. Raj Belgaunkar, Rev. Fr. Dr. Roland Coelho S.J and Smt. Vidhya Shahpurkar. The Lecturer of English Dr. Padmini Ravindran spoke about the Background and History of the inception of the St.Paul’s PU College. The Manager & Rector of St. Paul’s Rev. Fr. Ronnie D’Souza Blessed the Building and Shri. Raj Belgaunker inaugurated the Campus with the cutting of the ribbon. There was a cultural programme after the inaugural.

Fr. Pedro took the responsibility to renovate the hostel to make it suitable as a PU College premises. He worked together with Mr. Karu Wagh, the staff of St.Paul’s & Mr. Dayanad Sarnobath, the contractor who were felicitated for their contribution in giving a Face Lift to the Hostel, which is now a full-fledged college with all the Laboratories and infrastructure that is indeed, incredibly amazing.

There was a huge gathering that had a tour of the college who appreciated the College in every respect.
